Juno Athletics/LSR won the WSP Open championship at the USA Softball Mens Super/AA & Womens Open Slow Pitch National Championship in Mauston, beating Incognito/Miken 9-8 in the bracket final.

Juno Athletics/LSR reached the final 2-0 and finished 3-0. Along the way Juno Athletics/LSR beat PowerHouseSports/CWC 11-4 and Derby Girls/Smash It Sports/Resmondo 6-5.

Incognito/Miken reached the final 5-1 and finished 5-2. Incognito/Miken beat Ductech/Turn2 Apparel 12-11, Armed Forces 14-8 and PowerHouseSports/CWC 9-7, then beat Ductech/Turn2 Apparel 14-11 and Derby Girls/Smash It Sports/Resmondo 6-3 to reach the final.

Incognito/Miken lost to Derby Girls/Smash It Sports/Resmondo 17-6 earlier in the day and came back to earn another shot at the title. The one-run final was the second loss of the weekend for Incognito/Miken, and it came against the only team that did not lose a game in WSP Open.
